Flying Drone Atop Dois Irmaoes (Two Brothers) Mountain in Rio de Janeiro

My friend Rodrigo’s doorman lives in Vidigal favela in Rio de Janeiro. He told us it was safe to traverse the favela, with drone and SLR camera equipment, enroute to the climb up Dois Irmãos mountain, which overlooks Leblon and Ipanema beaches. This video is the story of our morning including drone footage.

We left at 7:30 am but before long it was 40°C (104°F) and we were sweating. It’s a pretty full on climb straight up, but as you can see from the photos below, the views are worth it!
